You kiss me with the Sun
I rest in Your Arms limp
What Life, you give me!
always, and again

Dear One,
You act afraid of Love, a Love more than loves arising from that Love, though you desire it. You seek it, then you turn away. You talk about it, but say you do not have time for it. This is your avoidance. Fear denies you the treasure you seek, the affection you pray for. If you do not remain open to this Love of all true love, you will settle for lesser loves. If you draw close to Me, I will calm your fears, and you can receive My Love through others whom I have placed in your life. But you must be honest about your need for Grace to embrace this Love, and be embraced by it, fully.
I love you unconditionally, too much to agree to act like I do not see your untruthfulness about your resistance. I will not let you get away with that, for I know that is not what will help you. The moment you confess your fear, that releases Me to begin helping you find the wisdom and courage to be a great Lover. I do not want you to feel guilty about your fear. I simply want you to honest, you need to be honest.
To give yourself to this Love, My Love, is a daunting experience and not to be taken lightly. So, fear is your recognition of the nature of this Love. This Love is what your deepest Self longs for, but you know you will be emptied of many of your attachments, finally all of them, if you say Yes. I take all, to give All.
Be assured with everything you give up, all taken from you, I fill you up more with Myself. With My Love, you only lose what is keeping you from even more Love. Do you trust that? You must, or you will never remain open. Being open means spaciousness to receive - a Journey to ever-deep depths, even deeper than experience. This requires resolve, courage, and daily renewal in My Embrace.
Remaining open to My Love, My Presence, in all the ways I send it, Love will keep pouring into your life. And this does not mean you will love others less, you will love them more, for My Love will be your Love, as your Love will be My Love - no difference, no separation, One Love. And you will come to see that to be loved by anyone is to be loved by Me, even as to Love Me is to love everyone. We are that close, we are one seamless garment of Life and Beauty.
Remember, I am Love, and I love you, very much.
Your Friend, Always,
The Beloved One

Brian lives a quasi-hermitic life and integrates varied religions, but most especially the contemplative paths of Buddhism and his native faith, Christianity. Brian received a 'mystical' Christ-experience at age 9, and was introduced to a peace untouched by pain and suffering. Later, in his mid-30s, after surviving a dark night of despair, Brian was vowed to a contemplative Christian way of life on St. Matthew's Feast day, 1995, by Greenbough House of Prayer, in Georgia, USA. This began many years of ardent reading, spiritual practice, and exploration of many spiritual paths, including publication of his book An Ache for Union: Poems on Oneness with God through Love. The Journey has led Brian to the joy beyond the ache, a contentment in experiential union with Grace. Brian lives with the affirmation that Love, not as emotion but Divine Presence, transcends all paths of religion and is our Source and Destination. As St. Paul writes in the Christian Bible, "Now remain always, faith, hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love." Peace to All!
